Located 10 km to visit a unique wetland the of Lake of Agia, home to many endemic bird species, plants and reptiles. It consists of 450 acres of protected area and the artificial Lake of Agia has been constructed on the purpose of inrrigatius and water supply of the Alikianos area. Its length is approximately 18 kilometers and it is the longest gorge in Europe. The most characteristic species of the gorge is the wild goat of Crete, the famous kri-kri you may see it as you walk, far away on the mountain sides of the mountains of Lefka Ori.
